I can't articulate it but with every aspect of the web getting shittier and people getting progressively dumber and less media literate as time goes by, it kind of feels like we're at the end of it as we currently know it.

Or just its career

But, on a more serious note, nah, I don't really get this sense at all. Like, some things on the Internet are getting worse (ie Twitter, Netflix), but everything is mostly just business as usual in capitalist hell world.

Google search results are getting noticeably worse. Amazon product pages are a mess. All the streaming sites are bloated with ads. Social media sites promote clickbait exclusively. Everything and everyone is monetized to the gills.

Absolutely none of it is regulated. That's the dystopian part.
