Should the next Pokemon game have a Gym Leader gauntlet mode, basically a Boss Rush Mode, where you fight all 8 Gym Leaders back to back?

Sure, more features is usually better.

Such a thing kind of exists now though with the Academy Ace Tournament.

You can do that in HGSS. All 16 of them.
The way you have to set it up by calling them on different days at different times sucks though.
If you could get EXP from it, that could be a cool mode.

I like the idea with level scaling and they have larger teams. Meaning Brock doesn't have just a Golem and Steelix, but adds in 4 others too to make it a full six.
