Theyre actually going to run full speed ahead on what has been a big losing issue for them over and over again. Keep doing it, guys. If theres a chance they lose Florida in a few months, this is how its going to need to happen.

Good. The more they spew this stupid ass bullshit the worse their chances become.

If they insist on losing with abortion I'll happily let them.

Abortion and weed are on the state ballot this year. Under normal circumstances I would not say Florida is in play. But now I think its a possibility and the Biden campaign certainly thinks so as they are putting money into the state.

I thought most of us agreed Florida was a lost cause because of how limp dick the state's Dems are, & that Texas was looking more plausible instead?

Many think Florida is in play because Abortion and Weed ballot measures will be on the 2024 election to drive dem turnout and grab a good chunk of fence sitters and red leaning women.

Texas is likely to be more consistently within striking distance.

We can only see I guess, the Dems war chest is like 3x what the RNC & shit has right now so if they use the funding effectively it might pay off since Florida at the state level does pass useful initiatives like minimum wage increases & other protections sometimes

at that point its just your body aborting the baby out because it doesn't want it anymore. <_<

Anyways I can't wait for this line of logic "abort at the birth canal" to apply to women who have no intentions of keeping the baby and giving the baby up for adoption and them banning adoption based on the logic of "well it sounds like you aborted it at the birth canal"

They think a woman carried the baby for 9 months and then at the last second was just like, "Nah, get rid of it".

They would do that. They're telling on themselves.

Or course. Democrats are pure evil in their eyes, and are thus obviously capable of deeds and actions that no sane or reasonable person would do.

It's just projection really. Once the baby is out of the womb conservatives stop caring about it any more. Well, stop pretending to care about it since they don't actually care in the first place.

They'd have to be sincere to be as dumb as they pretend to be. They're cynical; it's their constituents that are dumb.

That's been their argument, yes. Also, in reality, very few abortions are performed in the third trimester, and of those that are, they're done for medical reasons. And no doctor is performing "post birth abortions".

https://www.cdc.gov/reproductivehealth/data_stats/abortion.htm

Nearly all abortions in 2021 took place early in gestation: 93.5% of abortions were performed at 13 weeks gestation; a smaller number of abortions (5.7%) were performed at 1420 weeks gestation, and even fewer (0.9%) were performed at 21 weeks gestation.

Conservatives almost always default to talking about women freely having 9th month abortions when it comes to abortion not having a legal cutoff, but who the fuck is having these abortions?

Nobody is going to be pregnant for 9 months and then just decide to get rid of it without a medically important reason. At that point youre literally giving birth to it either way

It's going to be really interesting watching the abortion and legal weed ballot measures. If they pass, it's objectively not policy in the way of taking Florida, it's simply messaging.

If FL bungles these, break out the Bugs Bunny GIF.
