Wii U online servers are shutting down after today

If anything, the servers shutting down allowed for probably my favorite gaming experience in this year thus far. The hacked unreleased multiplayer lobbies, ppl chilling and partying despite the lack of ability to communicate. It's been giving me a bit of an anime con vibe, and a similar empty feeling coming out of it. I don't see where you are getting this $300 for XCX. Most I see are $40-60 bucks. The pearl-clutching in this topic is ridiculous. Again, the WiiU moved only 13.5M consoles - there's plenty of GAMES that sell more than this entire console did. The PS3 hit at least 87M. It's little surprise they got pushback and kept the servers opened longer.
