It's funny cuz J Cole was just caught in the crossfire. If he didn't respond to begin with no one would have even questioned it.

but what does Kendrick gain from making fun of J Coles career? Absolutely nothing. I dont even listen to Coles music, eventually Ill replay his old stuff.

Kendricks real target is obviously Drake.

Kendrick didnt go after Cole legitimately and yes he clearly wants Drake. But he put out the verse for the same reason he put out that verse on Control like a decade ago, he wants competition in hip hop to step up to him.

Cole isnt petty. Kendrick stans are kinda annoying with acting like hes above reproach or significantly better.
