The ethernets. The wireless reception is pretty poor on the side of the house I'm usually at, and since I used to play a good deal of smash brothers on the Wii U way back I wanted to just have everything wired up. When it comes to fighting games or peer 2 peer stuff, its not about the speed of the net, its all about the stability. Nintendo is so far back into the stone age with their internet set-up for some of their games that you absolutely need to make sure your connection is as stable as possible or else it will be a constantly freezing slide-show for games like super mario maker 2 and smash ultimate.
I bought one of those ethernet network switches a few years back, so basically how my house is set up is 2 100 ft ethernet cables that is nailed and run alongside the top of the walls, and one goes into the ethernet switch. (The second cord at this point is usually always plugged into one of the playstations. Went from PS3>PS4>PS4 pro>PS5). From the ethernet switch is 4 shorter cords. One goes into my desktop, another was plugged into the wii u (for smash and back when I played a lot of monster hunter 3 ultimate)...plugged into the switch dock now. 3rd was plugged into the xbox one/now series X, and the 4th is usually plugged into my TV. --- GTag:MadDogg730 PSN:lMadDogg NNID:xMadDoggx NS friend code:5313-0564-0819 Go buy cyber shadow like right now. ...
