I was thinking about how when I was a kid, they still ran a lot of the old Warner Bros. Looney Tunes shorts in blocks, and how they were filled with references that I knew from stuff my parents talked about or still had some relevance in the pop culture (Like references to Frank Sinatra and Mae West), or I just didn't get... and how a late millenial or member of gen Z would probably know even fewer.

I have to wonder if the young'uns today even know what that sound is very directly referencing. Not that it makes them dumb or makes me better, it's just kind of fascinating how these pop culture references have a life of their own.
