i wasn't aware of the folic acid, i was told i was getting prescribed D3 and B-12.

anyways the doses are: B-12 500MCG and folic acid 400MCG.

i had really bad anxiety this morning, calmed a bit then these came in the mail from the pharmacy and been feeling badly anxious again ever since.

i feel like i'm more awake than usual from it which was the goal, but man am i a nervous wreck. does it get better the more days i take it, or nah? wasn't even aware of the folic acid one as mentioned.

I think you're overthinking it. I don't know much about folic acid, but B12 is a vitamin that you literally need and any excess just gets stored in the liver. And there are people who take much higher doses than that.

B12 is a common ingredient in energy drinks, often at extremely high levels. Supplements can be sold over the counter in the US with up to 5,000 g. The US RDA is 2.4 g. Higher doses are often prescribed in cases of poor absorption. Overdose appears to be impossible, and there are no known side effects.

400 g of folic acid (B9) is 100% of the daily value. The recommended upper limit is 1,000 g per day, but there are few if any symptoms of overdose unless you suffer from B12 deficiency. Like the other B vitamins, folic acid is water-soluble, so any excess is excreted in your urine.

i google'd that folic acid can worsen anxiety and depression as well as cause psychotic problems. this was on the search engine that before opening a site a number of them had said that, but not about the B12. not sure if that is accurate. maybe tomorrow only take the B12? i also read folic acid supplements B12 so maybe that's why it was prescribed.

ugh, looks like i wont sleep tonight. feel all wired up.

question, if i don't get quality rest, will the vitamin combo knock me out of it?

my body cant generally function without 8-9 hours, and i typically suffer from lack of sleep at least every other night, because my body wants to wake up super early for some reason. if i don't get the sleep, the day is fucked and nothing works generally which is why i ask if this might work due to its potent stimulant effects.
