This. They're now saying that Stdn never intended it to be "woke" or an allegory for racism. Which is true, HOWEVER they ignore that it became popular and was most read after Claremont revamped it and pushed those allegories hard. These are not intellectually honest people and shouldn't be taken seriously.

It's a business model. If there's nothing to be outraged about this week, they'll pick something popular and choose to be outraged about that.

Sometimes they will still hate it even when its popular, like Barbie and Last of us (TV show.)

Yeah but that would never have been adapted at any point. Not for a kids show anyway. That sure wouldn't have made it into the nineties cartoon. Not when they already censored the Hellfire, er I mean Inner circle club female outfits.

It's never as big as the Apocalypse meme shot but there are some shots where she's flying in the new show where it's bigger.

Honestly I'm not the type of pervert whose going to pause every frame. Especially not when Goblin Queen's boobs don't require any searching to find.

Of course they were. But that doesn't change that comic book cartoons censored things alot. They removed all blood, wouldn't even have guns, Spider-Man couldn't even punch people in the nineties cartoon. Except for the Spot.

Comic standards have always been looser then TV standards, since the eighties anyway. Most TV censorship is actually less for the sake of kids and more for the sake of adults, as they are far more likely to see what their kids are watching then reading.

Conservatives tried for like 24 hours to call X-Men woke until they realized that Wolverine and the gang are too fucking cool and they don't want to call cool things woke.

Infinite Wealth literally has a Tinder parody game were you can unlock videos of real women barely clothed.

Persona 3 Reload keeps all the questionable outfits for characters to wear (the high cut armor, bikinis, and maid outfit) and even adds in a totally unnecessary animated cut scene were a character literally comments on the bodies of 3 of the female characters at the beach.

Its almost like a lot these people don't actually play games and get engulfed in pointless culture war crap.

This show is less censored then the 90s cartoon. Its still very much made for kids but there has been blood, some light cursing and episode three has some suggestive images.

Really this show isn't as for adults as something like Invincible or the revival seasons of Young Justice but its also not ultra censored kids fare ether. Its more of a middle ground. Which I actually like as we don't see that too often, we often get the two extremes.
