For music, talking standalone/album music. Music played in, say, a movie doesn't count towards music, because the music is there to enhance the visual experience but is very rarely the primary intended experience.

For me, I don't think anything would even begin to come close to time spent watching YouTube. Even if you took out every music-only or music video I ever listened to, YouTube has straight dominated my media experience that isn't video game related.

I use Youtube to listen to music for several hours every day, so I'm not sure how that should count. I actually watch Youtube for only maybe 20% of the time I'm on that site.

youtube videos/streams and it's not even close.

some crossover into music, but before streams took off it was oldschool LPs on in the background while I played WoW or whatnot

Eh, the primary motivator in your consumption while in youtube is listening to music so I'd say it counts toward music.

I spend a lot of time listening to (non-music) and watching 'made for' YouTube content. Where as for you it's mostly a vessel for music delivery
