the person who makes the content doesn't have to do anything once they hit send, we're the ones doing the work of looking at the ads. I should be the one getting paid not the person who makes the actual video i'm trying to watch

I mean, the site does pay for storage and bandwidth to deliver that ad to you (and the associated content).

Maybe a profit sharing arrangement is in order?
