Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed.

When they first announced it around half a year ago, with the outfit, mount and pet, they said "what we showed you in the trailer isn't everything, there are going to be much more rewards!" and...

All this "much more" is now a simple triple triad card and 10 orchestron scrolls.

Yeah, the FF XVI OST is great, but I was also hoping for Jill's outfit or other stuff.

Quest line itself gives:
Torgal mount
Torgal minion
Clive's armor as Lv1 glam

Added to Saucer:
Clive's card at 200,000 MGP (probably permanent)
10x orchestrion rolls at 20,000 MGP each (might be limited time)

Was weirded out by how they seem to delve into the story way more than the FFXV event. Haven't played XVI so not sure how much of a spoiler it is.

It was bigger than most of our event stuff, but... I wasn't all that impressed still.

The part that's very surface and doesn't reveal much just based on promo material is that Clive is Ifrit.

The part that seems spoiler-y to me is that they get into how his journey is partially to hunt down Ifrit, who killed his brother, and then later figured out that it was himself in an out of control state. The quest in XIV involves helping him come to grips with the trauma involved in realizing that.

Ah, I can see why that would seem like a huge thing, but it's not. Ifrit killing his brother is basically the prologue. Clive himself doesn't know that he's Ifrit until a few more hours into the game, but it's very, very obvious to the player, mostly because you're the one playing as Ifrit.
