I only ask because of the timing, but yeah... "human, because I'm human"

I even seen similiar stuff in a game like world of tanks/warships or such games if you could believe it. "I only play american tanks, because I'm american". Then they moan about being underpowered because it's not like the history/military channel told them.

I usually play as anything but humans... Especially in D&D... Where I just have so so many options both officially and third party...

It's a decent move in BG3 if you're gonna play a caster, just because you get free proficiency with a Shield.

Typically they're just too goddamn boring.

Forgot to say, I usually end up going with Elves. Races that I almost always avoid are bulky races or dwarf races.

Elves or Dwarves almost every time. Elves are almost always my first choice.

i usually pick Orcs if available. or whomever is the meanest, ugliest, nastiest sonuvabitch race in the game

however human is a close second

generally not. Humans tend to be the "Mario" option with roughly average to above average stats across the board. I like high highs and low lows in most of my games.

In Skyrim, I would switch between human and orc dependent on the custom build.

Solasta made me like the Tieflings for a short time, but the Owlcat games didn't design them that well (for one thing, they don't all have to be red skinned).

I'll take humans over prissy elves, short races, and brain-nerfed larger races.

Sole exception are TES Bosmer. Bosmer run hardcore.
