Wonder is just another New Super Mario Bros game just with drugs in it. Which is fine / great but Odyssey is a supposed masterpiece (some people's opinion, not mine).

Odyssey, but Wonder is phenomenal. It's crazy that it's even close, but it is.

If Wonder were a bit longer it might overtake Odyssey.

Wonder is good but it's just NSMB with better controls, graphics and mildly better sound. The level design quality is identical. Meaning it's pretty good. But Odyssey is superb. Also the wonder effects were uninteresting 90% of the time.

Wonder is really good, but Odyssey is on another level. It's probably the best platformer I've played in over 20 years.

Wonder stuck way too hard to the Mario formula tbh. Mario Odyssey wasnt afraid to take chances and was way better for it

Wonder

Odyssey is great for playing through the story, but 100% it is a gigantic headache due to the large open areas and going back-and-forth over them is not fun.

Wonder is a fantastic 2D Mario game and a true delight, but Odyssey was the successor to Galaxy imo. A true milestone.

to be quite honest, I dont think either of them are that great.

Odyssey had a lot of cool ideas, but eventually it just became kind of a novelty to me. Like yeah, the controlling enemies gimmick was cool but also really shallow, and some of the worlds are just entirely too short/dont live up to their potential. It looks and feels good to play, but it didnt really leave a good taste in my mouth.

Wonder just felt kind of bland to me. Really short, very easy, and the wonder effects still didnt really do much for me. Its just a good 2d mario experience, but also doesnt reach the peaks of 3 and world.

For the topic tho, I preferred odyssey to wonder.
