Is it immoral to engage in self-pleasure of a sexual nature?

So long as you're not victimizing someone else in the course of your self-pleasure, ie non-consensual voyeurism of someone bathing or engaging in their own self--pleasure, then no.

Even from the "made in the image of, or by, God" perspective, I don't think an intelligent designer would design the human body to feel pleasure and then want to make it inherently immoral or punishable unless they were a cruel and unjust God unworthy of worship.

receiving pleasure, in general, isn't immoral, as long as it's not at the expense of others (force, coercion, deceit, unable to consent through age and/or cognitive ability, etc.).
