r/gachagaming calls Memento Mori a crime against humanity because the art and music is so fucking good but the game is absolute shit even by gacha standards.

Another one will take its place, these mobile games are so cheap and easy to make I wouldn't be surprised if most of their expenses is just paying the artist to make the waifu baits as attractive as possible.

I'm pretty entrenched in the Dragon Ball gachas (f2pbtw), it would be a blow if they shut down with what happened earlier this year.

Some of these games are quite expensive to make and not easily replaceable.

Look into memento Mori for example. If you wanted to create a clone of it you'd need to:

• Create original live 2D art for every single character
• Hire a composer to write a song and lyrics for every single character
• Hire a vocalist for every song in both English and Japanese.
• You can't skimp on the vocalists either. DAOKO is one of them for example she's a highly famous Japanese pop star.

Those are just the big expenses. You still have to do all the other shit that goes along with running an online game.

Good. Switch versions of Gust games are so awful.

I would unironically pay $100 for FFRK offline. It really hit that sweet spot of nostalgia and fun. It also did a great job proving that ATB style gameplay could be interesting and challenging, while still being fair.

I played Pokemon Master sEX for a good while, but it got too demanding in terms of both time and money.

One of my friends roped me into Nikke (same dev as Stellar Blade, but different team). I'm taking it casually, for me, but it's fun.

There was (is?) a recurring event where you get rewarded for killing a big boss with as many teams as possible, without reusing anyone. If you wanted to take it seriously, you would need to beat some bosses solo instead of using a team of 3. I grinded that way too hard and got fed up. I'm the type of person where if I'm not playing to win, I'm not playing.

Oh those? I just get the 10 win streak and stop there. I usually do 1 a day while it runs. I dont go crazy on it lol

While I completed the story I never got to do most of the side content or ever really fully maxed out my jobs.
