When you let them borrow them?

I remember in middle school I let my best friend borrow my copy of StarCraft Brood War since he only had vanilla. Perfect condition when I lent it to him. However I got it back absolutely scratched to shit and it didnt run anymore. It still boggles my mind how it got THAT thrashed. Anyway when I called him out he claimed he didnt know what happened and that it was a ten dollar game anyway bro.

He also ruined a book once too, I let him borrow a novel in pristine condition and I got it back like bent up with the pages completely yellow. Anyway after those two incidents I never lent him anything ever again.

No.

I didn't let him borrow it but my friend came over a few days after Christmas when I got a PSOne so we could play. It was time for lunch but he kept playing so I said fine but don't change the game or anything. Of course he didn't listen and tried to change a game and somehow broke the PSOne and it wouldn't work anymore. I still have no idea what he did. Thankfully stores had better exchange policies back then so my mom brought it back to the store and they gave us a new one.

Yeah. Had a friend who got drunk and stepped on my copy of Dead Island.

Had an old friend who deleted my 100% wind waker save off my memory card so he could play nfs underground for 20 min, at which point, he got bored of it

Had a friend broke my Super Mario rpg cartridge by yanking it out from the SNES sideways

Not destroyed, but I let my friend borrow Chrono Cross back in the day. He took it with him when he went to visit his grandmother in another state and then forgot it there...

That was the only game he borrowed and never gave back lol

I dont blame you. Wind Waker is easily in my top 3 favorite games of all time.

Me and my friends played frisbee with another one of our friend's scratched copy of Bushido Blade while he was gone, and ended dropping

It didn't work anymore and he thought it was hilarious.

I deleted partners in time save file completely maliciously cos he called me a name my cousin. I was some kinda psycho when I was younger and angry Im not like that now lol

I was trying to bang this hot gamer girl back in college. I let her borrow my PS3 copy of Shadow of the Colossus. Never got it back. Never banged her either.

Another time back in grade school, my friend let me borrow his copy of Paper Mario 64 cuz he couldnt figure out what to do in Chapter 3. One day when he was watching me play it, he saw I got past the part where he was stuck so he just took his game back so he could continue!! I didnt get to beat it, not until years later when I played it on the Wii Virtual Console.

I've definitely let friends borrow games and never gotten them back.

Nah but ive broken 1 of my dad's games because I was pissed (crash 2). Jetpack level was too tough for me so I slammed my fist on the disc

Yeah Ive had friends end up keeping games they borrowed. I think I just never asked for them back so at least partially my fault there.

Oh yeah I borrowed my best friends copy of Tales of Symphonia 2 for the Wii and never gave it back. In my defense, he never asked for it back. I dont think he cared and also the game sucks.

My brother deleted all the save data from a GameCube memory card by accident once.

And this isn't video games, but I used to have a huge collection of all the Harry Potter Lego sets when I was younger, until one day my cousin brought over her misbehaving kids and they knocked over my shelf, destroying them all.
