I didn't realize there was a difference until later in life and real maple syrup is a lot more nuanced and better in flavor in my opinion

Most of the fake stuff is far too thick and doesn't really get absorbed into the pancake or waffle. And the flavor is not as good.

I was actually thinking of getting into syrups. There's such a large variety of them but many are expensive as shit. But that's kind of why I wanted to try them out.
