Because of the abuse he suffered as a child. Ive seen countless comments of people just acting like it makes what he did ok.

You can empathize with him for the abuse he suffered while still holding him accountable for his own actions. I dont know why this is so difficult for some

What did he do again? I can't recall, but it was pretty bad I think.

He was caught grooming a minor. I have to emphasize that what happened to Drake was horrible but it doesnt make what he did later any better. Hes still guilty of that crime

When that shit happens in your formative years it definitely ends up having an effect on how you turn out.

Can you show posts where people actually say, "I forgive Drake Bell", or are you upset that people are expressing compassion for what happened to him without immediately qualifying that with, "but not as much as I would if he didn't commit that crime"

Eh the people excusing him now are probably ones that blamed the victim anyway

As someone who nearly dodged being molested themselves I can't have sympathy for someone who had it worse off than I did?

It's a vicious cycle I intend on nipping off on my end. I do NOT want to end up like my former stepfather.
