I would never. My aversion to Florida is great enough that if my partner - who I am deeply in love with - demanded that Florida is where she's going, I would have to say goodbye to her.

I've been to Florida several times growing up. I'd never want to live there. Even putting the crappy politics aside, it's way too hot and humid for my taste.

I lived there most of my life (from 92-16). I wouldn't be opposed to moving back if the politics hadn't gotten so right wing in recent years and climate change wasn't going to wreck the place at some point. As it is, I voted fourth option.

Back when I lived in upstate NY when I was looking for warmer places to live. Florida was obviously on the list but I never really got serious about it enough to start looking into specific areas. I ended up in San Diego instead and I don't regret it though my parents retired to FL so it would have at least been nice to be nearer to them, but that happened 5 years later.

When my wife and I left CA we looked briefly into FL but by then it had veered hard right and had gotten expensive. Plus all her family is on the west coast and it would've been tough to go across the country.

If I ever win Powerball, I will get a beachfront mansion in San Diego.

Florida Keys are really nice, but if a hurricane came, you'd have to evacuate the whole island chain.

I don't think I've ever actively thought about it, but I don't think would be against it, especially when younger. I probably applied to jobs there after finishing school

One of my best friend moved to Kissimmee and I've consider moving down there with him.

After visiting Miami a few times in 2022 and 2023 I could see myself living down there. Especially there's a part in Hollywood Florida I stayed in for some time that was really nice

The weather is just so good

I lived in the panhandle for about 7 years and loved the area. Sold my house because it was due for a hurricane and I didn't want a tenant while one hit and having to deal with that complication. It's a nice place physically but it definitely went off the deep end politically.

I want to live next to the beach

Always hated Florida even as a kid. Too hot and humid, too many random rainstorms, and there's gators and other pests.

I used to go every summer since my grandparents had a house down there. Was nice to get into Disney free since my cousin works there, though.
