If I'm on the fence about if I like a girl or not, having sex with them doesn't seem like the best idea. I dunno how to explain it too well, but I think the very first time I slept with a girl I saw zero future with I immediately realised it's an unfair way to date

Why spend time dwelling on it when you can just put it to the test again?

Part of it is logistics, the more your prostate fills up with it's part of the seminal fluid the greater signal it sends to your brain that it needs to be evacuated.

Same way holding in your urine or fecal matter for too long can start to distress you.

When you finally clear it out your brain gets less of a signal so it has one less thing it has to manage which frees up mental resources for other things.

The other part is you overfocusing on certain aspects of life when you're aroused and reducing your compulsion to do something with that arousal reduces your focus on those sexy aspects of life.

Pre-nut Delusion

This is the answer... or rather the question. Why do we have pre-nut delusion.

Pre nut Delusion seems like an evolutionary thing. If cave men were "logical" 100% of the time they would focus on getting food, water and shelter, sex would not be factored in, it does not serve their personal survival needs.

However if they don't have sex their gene's do not pass on to the next generation, so males with pre-nut delusions are more likely to procreate, and make more males with pre-nut delusion.

But once they fulfill their need to evolutionary need to spread their seed they can go back to focusing on getting food, water and shelter.

The clarity isn't a proc'd effect so much as you coming back to your senses. Being horny is like being hungry; if you're hungry enough, you'll eat a shoe. Though with horny, it's a matter impulse control instead of survival. Some people are just kinda dumb and weak willed, and will collect spiteful exes and STDs like pokemon cards.
