It is probably the most physically demanding thing i've ever done. I'm in good shape too. Lean with low BF, regularly go to the gym.

Spend all shift lifting boxes off a truck onto a conveyer belt. Ranging from 1 lbs to 150 lbs Some people who have been there a bit longer resent me because I can't keep up their pace and make mistakes (only been there 2 weeks). A pregnant lady verbally tore into me and another new worker for every little mistake real or perceived. Had to hold back frustration and anger.

Another guy got in my face and tried to fight me because I farted when bending down to pick up a huge box. Seemed insecure and needed to prove himself.

Managers are chill and understanding. There are some old workers who have been there for a while who treat me well and help me out. It is not all bad.

I see why the turnover rate is so high lol. Most people there are halfbrain dead, depressed and addicted to cigs. Bascially robots. Some are extremely kind, patient and helpful. Other are extremely bitter, harsh and mean.

Basically every dead end job.

Manual labor provides such a tougher workout than the gym. Lifelong laborers have crazy amounts of strength. Unfortunately it's way less sustainable and costs you your physical health over time.
