https://www.cnbc.com/2024/03/26/mcdonalds-to-sell-krispy-kreme-doughnuts-nationwide-by-end-of-2026.html

*Initial rollout is this year with plans to be completed by the end of 2026

Right now it's just selling them individually or in packs of 6, but I could easily see them adding to meal-combos/McCafe deals, and even later experimenting with menu items (Krispy Kreme buns)

Actually a neat idea

But I rather get it from the source

I'm surprised Starbucks didn't take it. Seems like a winning combo

Yea getting them fresh is the best for sure. I really dislike the ones you buy from the grocery store since they're frozen and thawed and left out on the shelves for days.

Literally in the article
The doughnut chain uses a hub and spoke model that lets it make and distribute its treats efficiently. Production hubs, which are either stores or doughnut factories, send off freshly made doughnuts every day to retail locations such as grocery stores and gas stations.

Ehh that's not always the case.

I've bought a box before and they were not the same.

What happens after they get to the store is up to the store.
