I kind of find this stuff doesn't work because it assumes having one patriarchal, misogynist, sexually repressive, overbearing ancient religion would be better off replaced by another?

I wouldn't want the world's largest any religious building in my neighborhood, because it will bring in people of that religion and empower them to think the first amendment doesn't apply in the area with THEIR big temple/church whatever on it.

Look at communities around those mega churches and creation museum money pits...
