it's one thing to start to have your abilities start to slip away. that happens to old people. you compensate, use a cane, talk more slowly, rely on others more.

none of this happens, however, if the old person in question convinces himself and everyone else that he is the godhead, perfect in every way, and any seeming mistake he makes is actually an error in comprehension on everyone else's part. then things can get really bad really quickly

I will provide the context.

1) Donald Dumbass is in trouble for fraud when it comes to values of his properties and businesses. He's fraudulently (verbally mind you) saying a property of his is more valuable that it is.
2) Donald Dumbass and his supporters imply that Biden, a man with a well known history of stuttering and verbal gaffes, is senile because he makes verbal gaffes, makes a verbal gaffe.

Not terribly difficult to understand the context of those clips if you have been paying any attention to the last 8 years.
