Just watched some random video on my playlist of a guy talking about early AS, and he clearly didnt watch it and just had to assume everything, or said his parents wouldnt let him watch it.

Same with game reviewers. Guys like King K who were in grade school when KH2 came out, or who claim their first game ever was some Spongebob Gamecube game.

Theres nothing wrong with being young, but why are trying to show this stuff to people when they cant even understand the context of when it came out?

They don't really get it, but it's nice to see younguns interested in the Before Times.

King K gives better retrospectives than most old fucks who were around for when stuff came out

You can look back at things that were before your time.

There are plenty of YouTubers who review 1950s monster movies and the like. Very few of them are in their 70s or 80s.

Face it, we are old. Stuff we grew up with is cool retro stuff to people now.

Chances are he couldn't afford the console that aligned with his age at the time and had only an older console available to him, nothing is wrong that.

I play a lot of retro games made when I was literally a baby. I am really interested in 80s Japanese video games and I didn't play many of them or know of them due to being young and not knowing Japanese until I was older. I think it's cool they want to check out older stuff.

Im reminded of that time I was watching THF, and my nephew walked in the room and started opining about 80s TV. Why do people turn everything into an acronym? What the fuck is AS?

My kid (freshman in HS) the other day tried to show me a video about suge knight and diddler saying that these guys were bad guys from her time....like stfu kid they were like bad guys 30 years before you were even born

Its true if you weren't around during the time of something there is a perspective you will always be lacking. Nothing wrong with people talking about it even if they weren't there though.
