Which is the preferable way to have an argument? The screaming type where you just let it all out or the rational type where you stay calm and work through it.

I prefer to argue things calmly and really think about why the argument is happening and how to work through it together. But I've had people tell me it's better to get all those emotions out even if they're angry and bitter and make you scream at people and I just don't get that at all. Why would you want to be angry? Being angry always makes me feel bad.

The best kind of argument are the ones that start calmly, escalate to screaming, make you have angry sex with a random stranger and then, once you ehm banged out the emotions de-escalate to a rational discussion and work things out (potentially with make up sex if the other person in the argument has the genitalia that you're into)

They're wrong and should likely see a therapist
