Craig. Brosnan was too light to fight, and too thin to win.

Brosnan, but his movies were legit trash.

He was a truly great Bond though.

Brosnan > Craig

I don't like how they made Bond grounded and serious in the Craig universe.

Eh I still say Tomorrow Never Dies is good. But I'm not exactly a Bond fan either.

the craig bond movies did very good box office iirc. Easily the highest grossing bond movie ever is one of his. Did he have any good comedic moments in his bond movies?

World is Not Enough is probably the only good one. Die Another Day was great for the first half, then got absolutely terrible. Tomorrow Never Dies was outright bad. And Goldeneye was only good because of the video game, which cuts out all the horrible shit from the movie.

I did a watch through of them a few years back and was shocked that World was so much better than the rest, while Tomorrow was so bad. Because as a kid, Tomorrow Never Dies rocked, but I absolutely hated it on the rewatch. It was just incredibly boring and the plot was thin as shit. Michelle Yeoh was fine, but not in it enough, and the big bad's entire motivation was absurd. Just a dumb fucking movie.

With that said, I'm glad you enjoyed it, but I just couldn't do it.

Goldeneye was still solid, not great, but pretty solid, random minnie driver sighting.

Tomorrow never dies was bad. The premise could have been great, but the execution was poor. his whole motivation was to get exclusive media rights to China...

World is not enough was actually pretty solid. Denise Richards was horrible. Some of the action was silly though and out of nowhere they start a skiing montage, but for the most part I found it an enjoyable spy thriller.

Watched Die Another Day today. It was way better than I remember. The first half or so was actually legit great. Once they got to the Ice Palace, it really took a nosedive. I don't really think there was anything redeeming about that entire section. The setting I guess was cool. But everything about it was just terrible. It picked up again once they left there. So overall the movie was really good outside of that rather large chunk of movie. Halle Berry gave some absolutely god awful lines here and there, but she really wasn't that terrible. The Villains were all pretty good too. Black Sails smug fucking face worked so well for a despisable character.

That's how I viewed them in 2020.

Craig by far.

Was never a fan of how gadget orientated the older bond movies were and felt like the cheese factor was also turned up to 11 in the Brosnan ones.

Give me hard hitting, down to earth (as much as you can with a spy movie) espionage movie any day

Comparing bonds that are over decade apart is so pointless.

Die Another Day I believe. That's the Ice Palace one, but the Korean shit I believe bookends the film, along with a set piece in I believe Cuba.

All this talk does get me interested in watching all of them at some point. I'm sure I've seen most of them if not all, but I assume many were when I was a kid and I barely remember shit.

I know Amazon had all of them at one point, I assume they pop around to various services for a few months at a time, so I gotta catch them when it's on something I have.

Part of it probably has to do with it being one of two Bond films I've ever seen and that it was way more plausible to me than deadly satellite space laser.

Haven't seen either in fucking forever tho so there's that too.
