Reminder: no one has ever accused Schneider of inappropriate sexual behavior with children. Hes undoubtedly a big asshole though.

From what I've read, he was an asshole, that had a feet fetish, and asked for back massages from adult females that made them uncomfortable. The foot fetish is pure 4chan conspiracy theory that bled into mainstream message boards. Someone went through thousands of hours of shitty Nickelodeon shows and put together a 5 minute compilation of feet. Its a bunch of bullshit.

My kids threw on Victorious the other day, it's pretty bold. The other girls, especially Liz Gillies, got it pretty bad too.

I know theyve explained they were manipulated and have apologized, but Im extremely disappointed to hear about Rider and Will from Boy Meets World signing off on the letter that reduced Brian Pecks sentence

I saw an episode of the Jennifer, what ever the fuck her last name show was, and I was shocked at home much it was straight up preying on children.
She is a Tik toker and all that, there was a sign where she's teaching toddlers how to make tick tocks. That shit was fucked up.

I would recommend listening to their podcast episode on the issue. They really go into detail as to what happened and how exactly they were manipulated by the guy.

You can tell they truly regret what they did and at the time they were certainly misled. Clearly, they wanted to see the good in their friend and were manipulated. Unfortunately, it can happen to good people.

Just imagine the situation this guy put them in. Imagine if a close friend or family member came to you and asked for your support.

Also keep in mind that Brian did not outright deny what happened. He instead told a warped reality of that to his close friends.

Think about a person close to you coming to you and asking for your support for something that they were accused of and suggesting that they in fact were the victim.

we want to give those we know the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately in this situation good people were taken advantage of.

I went to Bonnaroo with Drake through some extended friend groups and the guy was so visibly depressed the entire time. I didnt want to badger him about his time on the Drake and Josh show so I just pretended he was another friend in the group, which he seemed to appreciate. He lightened up on day 2 of the festival, but damn I felt bad for the guy.

For me this is a questionable episode.

I watched it and it's fucked up. I haven't followed anything nickelodeon since I grew up so most of the cast I didn't really know but it really seems to match up with Hollywood and their inappropriate and rapey environment. All of Dan Schneider responses were basically nuh uh.

Hasn't Drake been grooming teens and beating his partner since then? Not to downplay his past trauma. But I don't blame Josh for steering clear.

That whole teen thing ended up super confusing. A lot of it was proven to be the girl lying, but I don't remember exactly what was and was not true and what was based in reality.

I havent heard anything about partner beating, and from what Ive gathered the grooming teens thing was just an insane rumor that the internet decided to spread out of control. There was one girl who he was messaging. She lied about her age. When he learned she was a minor, he stopped talking to her. She then made up stuff about being groomed. Its in the documentary.

He was arrested for and plead guilty to child endangerment for sending inappropriate messages to a 15 year old. To call it grooming was probably an exaggeration.
