Nope. Had one in 2018 - 2020 when I lived in an area with poor cell signal, aside from that haven't had one since the early 00s.

Yes, we still have two landlines for some reason. Just converted to fiber last week, actually. At this point, it's as much for camping on an OG area code (our region is about to get another) as much as anything else...

I haven't had one since I got rid of Verizon DSL over a decade ago.

I pay NZ$35/mo for my cellphone, primarily for the unlimited data, with unlimited calls being a bonus. Receiving calls is free here, not that I use calls in either direction much.

A landline (which on a technical level, would go through the cell towers anyway where I currently am, so no redundancy benefit) would only be $10/mo with unlimited calls to landlines, but I already have everything it offers (with the benefit of portability) from my cellphone. Plus, there's the one off cost of buying a handset for it.

If I didn't have or want a cellphone, sure, it might be worth getting a landline at that price. But there's zero reason to switch or to get both.

No, we had digital cable for quite some time, but we cut the cord last year. We are still using our former cable company for (fast) internet.
