The movie was boring. None of the emotional scenes hit. The action scenes were dull. There wasn't much life to this movie aside from a few of the social scenes with the leads. I wasn't putting this film on some high pedestal- I was just hoping to be entertained, which is something that I've gotten from most of the MCU films at least once. I had figured all the people who complained about this movie were just misogynists (and maybe some of them are). Nope, The Marvels wasn't entertaining.
I guess I'd still put it above my bottom picks Doctor Strange and Thor: the Dark World, but I don't know if I'd go any higher.
Also, end credit animation was the most boring I've seen in a while.

I still have not seen it, but Marvel recently canceled The Marvels 3.

Nevermind, I got mixed on the movies. I thought this was The Eternals. lol

I thought it was one of the best recent MCU movies personally. Iman Vellani is a treasure and I can't not get behind her character.

She was the best part of a bad movie, sure. It's a shame, because I thought Ms. Marvel was one of the better D+ MCU shows.

First capt marvel was better. I was frustrated they didnt just give her a standalone because I dont really know the other characters.

The youngest is a very popular "new" character that debuted in the comics I think in 2011. Ever since, Marvel has been heavily promoting her. To make her into the next big huge Marvel character

I thought it wasn't bad. Ms. Marvel is definitely the highlight. It's not one best MCU films by a longshot but I liked it better than Ant-Man 3.

Both movies are overhated, but people it's defenders don't help by basically painting all criticism as bigotry. 1>2

Its a 6/10 movie. Not bad, not great.

Fun but terrible villain

Thor: the Dark World's only purpose is exposition for the Infinity Saga. Doctor Strange 1 is a soulless retread of Iron-Man except it replaces tech with magic. As muted as it was, The Marvels at least had some sense of identity.

I didn't mind Ant-Man 3.

I went in with low expectations because the first one was so bad but it was really fun. Still very average for the MCU as a whole but definitely worth the watch.

Completely thought you meant Doc Strange 2 in your OP. Wholeheartedly disagree. Strange 1 is a perfectly average MCU film. 2 has some highlights, but is dogwater overall
