Heavens I just looked at that title name. Please no I am a surgeon jokes.

My family doctor is pretty cool, but the last three specialists I saw were not up to par. At one clinic, I had appointments with two different specialists, and they both kept canceling at the last minute. When I finally did manage to see one of them, all they talked about was avoiding white foods. It became frustrating because I would prepare for my appointments only to be told that the doctor wouldn't be available that day. So, I decided to stop seeing them.

The next specialist I tried had a terrible bedside manner, and their office was in disarray missing ceiling panels, malfunctioning lights, you name it. It was clear that they didn't care much about their practice or their patients. Overall, I didn't feel comfortable with them.

I'm considering going back to one of the specialists who kept canceling because I need to have my health checked, but I'm also hoping to find someone I can trust and feel confident in. Fingers crossed that I don't jinx myself with this next statement, but I haven't had any noticeable issues in the past few weeks. However, I still recognize the importance of getting checked out. And hey, I still get to eat white foods.

Ask your primary for a recommendation. It's how I've always gotten my specialists.
