Context: Been trying to sell a 2 year old computer online for a couple months. It's not a top of the line pc, I was only using it for college, but I bought it for 1k new, trying to sell it for 600, and I have done some care on the machine (Upgraded the OS to Win 11, and I dust the insides) One guy say's he'll pay the 500, and then ghosts me like I'm back on dating sites. I get an offer of 400 three days ago from one chick, which is fine, I'm not going to stress over 200 dollars. She comes back today "Can you do 200? I'm trying to get it for my son for Easter?" I hate to sound like a teenage girl but... like No? I have bills to pay, and if I'm being honest here, I've never known someone to get big presents for Easter. Christmas/Birthday sure, but Easter? If you can't afford it now, I'll keep trying to sell it for the listed price and you can get back to me with 400 when you can afford it, but I'm not going to drop a very reasonable price because your having hard times. ... Easter and its related holidays are moveable feasts, not falling on a fixed date; its date is computed based on a lunisolar calendar (solar year plus Moon phase) similar to the Hebrew calendar.

Easter gifts sounds weird to me, too. The only gifts you're supposed to give at easter are chocolate snacks. Also asking for half off after agreeing on what was already less than you asked for is gutsy lol.
