The age you left whatever guardian you had and became an independent adult. Going off to college doesn't count if you weren't paying for everything yourself.

18 then moved back home at 19 after we got kicked out of our apartment over a search warrant that turned out to invalid after the fact.

Moved out again around 25 to age 33 or so and had to move back home for a year or two. Then I bought my house.

I live with my mom, but I've lived on my own at different times, first at 22, unless you count the semester I stayed in dorms when I was 19.

I don't really plan on moving out again, rent is way cheaper living with her than it would be anywhere else, and I'll inherit her house will go on to me when she dies. And rent is pretty much just paying part of her mortgage down, once she pays that off, she won't charge rent anymore.

I have a friend who moved back with his parents in his 30s and I don't think he's ever leaving. His step father died and his mom is like 80 so he's just riding it out.

Part of me wants to go somewhere else, because I'm in a small town in TN where I don't really know anyone, but it just makes way more financial sense to stay here.

Moved out of my mom's place shortly before I turned 18 but I moved into my girlfriend's parent's house because we had a baby.

We moved out of there into our own place when I was 20.

From 18 to 32, then after getting both my hips replaced, I moved back in and went back to school.

Finishing my master's in may, getting a real job and apartment again hopefully.

I guess technically when I was 27 since at that point the only thing that financially connected me to my parents was the family phone plan and I had just moved out of state (again) at that time. The other link before that was being on their car insurance up until I was 26, and besides those two things I was living and getting by on my own since right before I turned 22 when I started grad school out of state with no financial help from them (full ride + living stipend from the school)

I dropped myself from that family phone plan a couple years ago and now I'm 100% independent, but no moving was involved

went to University for 3 years (but that doesn't count) then returned to parent's home, spent a year hunting for a job and eventually got one in the same town so stayed - was made redundant after 7 and a half-years, got a job elsewhere and moved out after my 30th birthday

At 24, ~8 months after graduating college. I had outgrown the place and had issues with my mom so as soon as I had landed a job capable of supporting myself I was out.
