Being a good person is a consistent process of trying to be a better person than the person you are. Anyone who believes they are one hundred percent a good person probably isnt. People who know they arent but try to be anyways are about as good as a a person can be. Ive met good people in my life.

All you can do is try your best.

I know I'm not a good person. I'm just mad as hell that somehow, so many other people can't even be bothered to rise up to my low-as-fuck level, and instead want to waste their lives by actively being assholes to people for no goddamned reason.

Whatever definition of good person youre using, nobody is a good person at every moment. Nobody can be. Youd burn out trying to help everyone and fix everything. sometimes you just have to be a person. Sometimes you give in and youre a bad person. Nobody is all one thing.

Yes, because youre being a jerk about it, not to mention passive aggressive. Part of trying to be a good person is standing up to bullies and people who are just trying to make other people feel bad. this is textbook. tc is making a thread openly projecting his issue onto the entire board, and when people are responding as if they have been insulted (they have), he is sealioning them by pretending he hasn't done anything that universal social contract wouldn't condone. tc is the type of bully who abuses the benefit of the doubt in order to insult people. he'll make a note of you for having called him out and he'll meet you with that very readable passive aggression for the rest of ur time posting here

Being good is a process, a series of choices and actions. If on average you do more good than harm, youre a good person. As long as youre trying to be.

What do you think gaslighting means, and how does it apply to this situation? Explain.

You are being a jerk because you are passive aggressively saying every other persons efforts to be good are pointless and everyone is bad. Then when people post you are hostile. An example includes telling someone who said they dont think theyre good that they must because of some past grievance you had with them that you refuse to shut up about.

See how Ive easily explained this, using the reality of what happened? Thats why it isnt gaslighting. So again; what does gaslighting mean and how does it apply here? A refusal to answer will be taken as an admission that youre full of shit.

I don't think I'm a good person, as I don't do much to actively help people. That said, I don't think I'm a bad person either because I don't hurt people.
