I think any pithy statement about human nature is very likely to be absurdly wrong.

Yeah humans just love killing each other. Some choose to deny this truth but the graves piling around them say otherwise. You can only protect peace through power but power eventually gives way into war. And so the cycle continues.

It's not specific to humans, but we definitely make the biggest ruckus.
