Way too many things just got in the way of the action and while there was emotional impact, it didn't feel like it was focused on the crew you cared about. Water 7/~~Enies Lobby~~ stuff was great though. Lots of emotion and the action gets pretty good when it picks up. I'm "only" around episode 600 in my own watching.
