I havent bought Unicorn Overlord yet since I wanna finish P3R first before anything else first.

Aegis Rim had a kickass story with interesting characters and plot-twists every other chapter and the story in general was well written and had a great ending.

how does unicorn overlord compare?

Compared to triangle strategy tho it's a lil better

From what I've played I would give it a toss up between the two for story, but with Unicorn Overlord having vastly superior gameplay.

13 Sentinels has the better story by far. Unicorn Overlord has the better gameplay loop/systems. It's really up to you what you want to play, but I can highly recommend both.

From what I've heard, TC, Unicorn Overlord's story is "10% as crazy" as that of 13S, but the gameplay is very tight

even if its not as crazy, is it still as well written and engaging? I agree not every story can be an aegis rim or a danganronpa

I haven't played Aegis Rim much despite owning it but I tried out the demo for Unicorn Overlord and the story is fine. Maybe it gets better later but it's not bad from what I've seen, just that you're definitely there for the gameplay.

Ah you were talking about 13 sentinels. Who remembers "Aegis Rim" as the name?

Anyway, still need to play it. But they seem different styles of game.

Unicorn Overlord is basically Ogre Battle except its made by Vanillaware.
