I love how boring Falcon 9 launches have become. Theyre so routine I could sleep through them. Cant wait for starship launches to become that mundane.

I still love to watch them, but its an important step for space travel when it becomes boring to us. Thats true advancement.

so it's either richest man in the world launching future trash into space, or richest man in the world establishing global spy satellite network

..I'd go with the first one because he's incompetent without other people

Last week they did a couple in one day also. It depends, they get scrubbed for weather a lot and delayed. I may just keep this topic going because they are so frequent, seems like there is another tomorrow. I'll post up links and details if people stay interested, these are usually dead topics but we watch launches in our discord and it's a good time.

SpaceX is targeting Thursday for the third flight of Starship. The company has not yet received regulatory approval for the flight. The flight will feature several upgrades to Booster and Ship, as well as a modification of the flight path to the Indian Ocean, instead of Hawaii. In space, SpaceX plans to demonstrate the payload dispenser door, and the capability to relight a Raptor in Space. Additionally, SpaceX wants to demonstrate the capability of in-space cryogenic propellant transfer.

The mission will attempt a soft splashdown of Booster 10 in the Gulf of Mexico, and a splashdown of Ship 28 in the Indian Ocean.

Window Opens: March 14th at 7:00AM CDT (12:00 UTC) Window Closes: March 14th at 9:00AM CDT (14:00 UTC)

Coverage for this begins 11PM on the 13th, if anything shows before then i'll post it.

An orbital mission with the Starlink pez dispenser would be amazing though.

The SpaceOne maiden flight out of Japan exploded a couple days ago, that might have been what you heard. I posted a clip of it at post 31.

If something happened today, I haven't read about it yet.
