My new GPU arrived today. I went from a GTX 1660S to a RX 6750 XT.

Most games I tested work fine, Genshin seems to be the exception. A lot of juttering, or parts of the screen covered with static.

It's a shame, because it looks great otherwise. It's just this that's an issue

That's strange. You updated drivers I assume? Did you check the options in Genshin to make sure it's not using your integrated graphics or something strange like that?

Yes, and yes. Tomorrow I'm gonna try another fresh driver install just in case, but I don't expect it to help

Googling suggests it's to do with my FreeSync enabled monitor, but even when I turn FreeSync off within the monitor the issue persists

Take their weapons to r5.

That would take a long time and have minimal effect

Homa gains hp with each refine and becomes a better damage weapon for hp scalers like Zhongli. But I understand.

I already basically hit the cap with her own talent. The increase with R5 would only give me like 400 more attack which is really not worth chasing.

I replaced the AMD Adrenalin driver utility with the AMD Pro utility: it installs older, more reliable drivers from what I can tell

I also swapped the DP port I use on my GPU >_> might have been that easy a fix in the first place, but I digress

I adore this alchemy shop event. This patch might be a rest patch before more story/map stuff but between this and the cat cafe, it's a big dub imo.

I decided to get back into genshin just now after not touching it for months, and she's the only fontaine character i have, she's running an r5 festering desire and a 4pc golden troupe at level 50 currently, does that look good so far? would she runn great with bennett?

Not sure why, but Arlecchino is getting an extended dose of hateraide on the Genshin board. Its not like this is the first time theyve released an on-field unit of an element that already has that niche covered. I suppose they wouldve done the same with Wrio if hed been waifu, but nobody cared because male. lol

I kinda want Chiori cause my only geo are Noelle/Ningguang/MC but I also want Kazuha cause he's possibly best support but I want Neuv cause he's best dps but I want Furina cause apparently her C1 is a gamechanger but I also want Arlecchino cause she looks great

Pretty sure it's almost entirely because all they want is a 5* Xiangling replacement at this point.

They want a five star waifu replacement for Bennett, too. To be fair, Dehya wouldve been 1000x better if thats all shed been.

Nah Wanderer is fine, he can still fly up too. I use that a lot.

I never really found a use for Wanderer, ever. I'd just use Kirara for her superior climbing skills in very tall mountains, Kazuha for short climbs, Yelan C1 for flat ground...
...and now Xianyun C0 does all that with her skill.

Seems Arlecchino's charge hold ability is pretty much the same thing as Mona's alternate dash, except Arle hovers over the ground and you can still dash normally.

Wanderers great for long divides and some of those broken floating aquaducts that lead to oculi that Satan designed.

Plus he hits like a runaway double decker bus.

They're the last two non characters I really want not counting the pure meta ones

Shenhe hasn't rerun for about a year now so she's kinda overdue. There are rumors of a Chronicle banner for Liyue characters that contains her, alongside Hu Tao and Ganyu. Not sure about Yelan though.

Shenhe's last reun was almost a year ago so it will probably come any day now, not too sure on Yelan.

Hoyo also likes to give the new nation characters reruns in the same nation's update batches, we're already seeing this Neuvillette, so Shenhe might be reran with Wriothesley maybe since Cryo support

Shenhe is the only character Id really like to add to the roster just so I can pair her with Wriothesley. I like Arlecchino and all, but I really dont need any more onfield pyro DPS.

Has it really been almost a year since Shenhe? God. It doesn't feel like that long ago. x.x

Yeah, I started playing Dogma on Friday and am basically down to 5 minutes of dailies and grabbing the excursions. Not even using my resin now.

jw but since there's no Star Rail topic here, based off my current roster, should I pull for Acheron or Jingliu in the upcoming banners? I REALLY prefer Sparkle characterwise but I'm kinda drowning in harmony support so... yeah. I'm really lacking in main DPS so I have to pass her up

Acheron has more reliance on her light cone than Jingliu, so if you don't want to pull for a light cone go for Jingliu.

I'm a big fan of pre-Ryza Atelier games and iirc Mihyo shamelessly stole this system from Atelier Sophie (minus all depth). So I generally enjoyed the event gameplay.

I should get back to Atelier Sophie. I enjoyed it, especially since it has no time limit unlike a lot of the others. Curse my lack of attention span

Yeah I'm an option 1 player too for that alchemy event lol. I loved it. Been wanting some of their event minigames to be more involved and that definitely scratched the itch.

I still haven't found the time to play Atelier Lulua, I should get to it someday.
And Firis, and LySue, and Sophie 2, and Ryza Trilogy...

The time limits pretty much completely stopped mattering from Ayesha on (super generous), especially Escha (almost impossible to fail).

Even the strictest one, Totori, gives you a good amount of free time as long as you understand the fact that grinding enemies is extremely inefficient and pointless.

The action you're supposed to do changes depending on which stage you're doing, and if you don't immediately stop adding controller input after doing the action then it won't show up. There's also a meter that, if empty, won't allow the particle to appear either.

There was also text on the screen telling you what actions you had to stop moving after. So even if you just skipped all the dialogue or forgot, all you had to do was look at the bottom of the screen when you got confused and you could find out in seconds.

I think the event was very easy to understand.

PS5 stick drift made it more annoying than needed so I only did minimum primo rewards.
