i've done every requirement to start the OSRS The Fremmenik Exiles quest except 55 runecrafting wooooooooooooof

i got 36 runecrafting right now mainly through quest rewards no actual runecrafting.......guess ill try that runecrafting minigame woof

forgot how to play guardians of the rift and said eff it i'll just craft tiaras lol

i could watch a youtube video to refresh my memory but oh well, already bought the talismans+tiaras for runecrafting

also i hit level 80 attack just so i could wield the Ghrazi Rapier which is currently 60 million GP holy moly

i was lucky in a few giveaways again which meant i could afford it lol

Seems to be averaging about 10 posts per day, though that's not accounting for it moving a bit quicker until it hit post 30. So you've got about a month and a half to go. ;p

it's like the perfect method to mine for me, it takes a bit of effort to get to a shooting star but totally worth it once i'm there, whoever at Jagex thought of this idea is a smarty pants lol

that seems chill af. I probably would have used that method a bit just for the prospect costume colors. Xp rate doesn't seem too bad either and I'm sure there is a clan chat dedicated to finding shooting star locations

For the early levels I mainly did ZMI (Ourania Altar). I hated it so damn much lol. Also did some nature runecrafting which is why I have like a few thousand duel arena rings. Edit: oh nevermind I guess I sold them off lol

@ratchetrockon did you ever get scammed on Old School Runescape or know someone who did?

in 2005 I got scammed by the free armor trimming scam back lol, these two dudes put on an act in Varrock Bank where one guy said free armor trimming then the other dude took off armor and pretended to trade and receive trimmed armor and then put on the trimmed armor he had in his inventory all along and was like "wow thank you so much for trimming my armor for free!"

I go to the guy who is saying "free armor trimming" and give him my adamant platebody and then BOOM dude logs off, I def felt like shit and almost quit the game haha

but an addy platebody is literally zero compared to the hundreds of millions + multiple billions that scammers/lurers get nowadays, I love watching videos detailing all the scams+efforts people go through to try and take roonscape money from people

im pretty sure i fell for the free armour trimming and doubling money shit back in the day lol.

I did get hacked on runescape 3 in 2016. Lost a purple, yellow, red, white, and blue party hats. H'ween mask set. Probably a few easter eggs, x-mas scythe, red and black santa. Plus like max stack of gp. In total this was like around 30 billion gp in Rs3 in 2016. These days this is like a few hundred billion gp since rares got a huge price increase the past couple of years.

I was targetted by someone. one day some dude that was maxed level asked me to show my rares to him because he wanted to borrow one for a few mill an hour (rs3 has a borrowing system). So i showed him (i didnt care about the few million i just liked to show off back then lol) and then immediately got disconnected from the game. I'm still unsure how they managed to do that. I got a message from Jagex saying they hacked my old email or something tho.

I was dumb enough to respond to their fake jagex email and all that so they got my bank pin :(. I have learned from my mistakes tho.

they didnt direct me to a site. the log in worked on the actual runescape site but back then the user could read the messages you send to jagex.so i was sending jagex a bunch of fucking info and the hackers were able to read it. the jagex mod mentioned this to me

nowadays I don't see people offering free armor trimming but there are still people who offer to double money. one thing I like to do is show them all the cash I currently have in my bank, offer it all in a trade and not do anything in the final trade confirmation window so they end up declining the trade once they know i'm trolling them lol

Just curious, but did you do all the quests that give Runecrafting exp or at least lamps you can use to dump exp into Runecrafting exp? Might break the monotony.

i did quests + lamps so that i was at level 36 runecrafting before any actual runecrafting woof

i did not do the "What Lies Below" quest now that i've checked but i'll save that for the end when i need that final 8k experience to get over the hump

i'm at 48 runecrafting right now, fuck this i'm done for tonight lol

why i'm even doing this is to unlock the ability to wear that sweet Neitiznot faceguard which has double the strength bonus of my current helm

Is the helm worth it . I'm unfamiliar with it since I never focused on combat (I got my combat stats initially from sand crabs lol)

if you're looking for whether you get more bang for your buck, nopeee lol

the neitiznot helm is only 50k while to make the neitiznot face guard it will cost you nearly 30 million

the extra def bonuses are nice but people really care about the double strength bonus over the helm

it's the second best in slot helmet item for strength bonus only behind the torva full helm so people will naturally want it even if it's not a major major upgrade

i'm gunning for the faceguard because it's actually possible for me to get the cash for it, if not then i'd just stick with the helm
