How about for video games, they will still sell video games on disc. Saw an ad that said a bunch of fames on bestbuy.com were on sale. Not sure if you go to their store if it will be the same price.

It is definitely video games, although movies might be the next to go on the chopping block.

To be fair, the companies themselves (ie: Warner brothers) may stop bringing things to Dvd/Blu-ray entirely way before stores stop selling them. WwE has already stopped putting their events on Dvd a few years back.

They still sell blu-ray disc players. That's like selling Pez dispensers with no Pez.

I worked at a Best Buy from 2011-2017. When I started, about 25% of the store was CD's and DVD's. When I left, it was down to maybe 10%. Now it's like 2%

"Experets" said it was going out of business the whole time I worked there and they only got stronger. They're the only brick and mortar retailer that sells Apple computers (outside of the Apple Store), and they still have a large market share for home theater.

Once they started price-matching Amazon, they fixed a lot of their problems

they price match amazon, they prob lose a lot of money on that. i thought that like walmart and target sell apple computers. What do you think about gamestop, best buy would outlast them?

Their workers are smug assholes

They pay you $5 for a game and then re-sell it for $55

Their midnight openings are a hot mess

GameStop ruined the used games market. They basically Wal-Marted the mom and pop industry after buying out Funcoland, and once they had a death grip, they jacked up their prices on current games.

On top of that, they actively destroyed a massive amount of retro game stock as generations switched. That's why retro prices are so high now, because GameStop destroyer supply
