It definitely has its... flaws. Chiefly, I'd have preferred if the game at least told you how eligible you were for a level up instead of having that be a hidden stat. Yeah, I know its still DMW dependent, but at least knowing you're eligible would be nice. Is a weird feeling when you get like 3 levels up in one engagement though <_<

But the gameplay is pretty engaging without being so overcomplicated to the point of dragging it down. the story fits right into the FF7verse without demanding you stretch your suspension of disbelief in regards to what is already there.

Zack is likeable and believable. I do think Cloud should have played a part earlier on or played the part of Kunsel(with Kunsel not being a SOLDIER and instead just a Shinra grunt), to further develop the relationship between Zack and Cloud instead of Cloud playing a lifeless husk for like 2/3 of his presence in the game <_<

I'm not entirely sure I would have enjoyed the gameplay as much on PSP, especially since Reunion lets you skip DMW scenes among other refinements.

I'd definitely recommended Reunion for anyone who wants more FF7verse stuff that isn't... Advent Children lol or for anyone that tried Crisis Core and couldn't get into it.
