Is that when you are in your 20's you would run into family/friends you hadn't seen for a long time at weddings. I've noticed that now that I'm in the my 40's I run into them at funerals. Shit sucks man.

Good thing I have never had a friend

I turn 48 in less than a month and it hasn't hit my family too hard yet but my family was very very young. Like my mom and dad were only 14 and 17 when they had me and their parents were only 19 or 20 when they had them and their parents were 19 when they had my grandparents. So when I was graduating high school my grandparents were only like 54 and 55. My great grandma was 74. I remember when I was young like around 10 years old my grandparents and all of their friends were around mid 40's. They seemed old to young me but looking back they were ridiculously young really and very active.

So yeah my family was super young. Since my mom and dad were the oldest of all their brothers and sisters most of my aunts and uncles are only like 8 to 10 years older than me and all my cousins are younger.

So outside of a death here and there it hasn't hit real hard yet. But when it starts to happen its going to be a lot.
