After a year, they sent her an email subtly detailing that she could either leave it alone and get the same package for 46 a month, or change to a "different" (read: the same) package for 25 a month. Quite literally the exact same broadband offering but one costs 25 if you call and opt out or 46 if you don't. Oh also they subtly detailed that its now a 12 month minimum term contract. So in summary, charging old-age pensioners the equivalent of a couple of months worth of food for the privilege of not being able to understand this technology stuff. I have 69$ a month now for gigabit fiber optic because I got in when it was 40$ a month for the first year. It went up after that ended, but I know that if I can keep such good rates by threatening to cancel sometimes, this is probably some of the best in the US.
