I watched RT content, specifically AH, for years on end. Stopped watching a few years ago after the main six basically stopped appearing and they hired a bunch of people who just didn't have the same chemistry.

I did pretty much the same thing and moved over to Ray's streams on Twitch.

I will say though that once Geoff and the rest of the F**kface crew took over the Let's Play channel, the content got MUCH better. It felt a lot like classic AH.

The DC brand has been with WB since some of it's earliest days. I wonder if they'd do it

DC was independent for about 30 years of its life. Kinney National Company bought the publisher in 1967 and then bought Warner Bros.-Seven Arts in 1969. That said, it didn't really get officially called DC until 1977 (though they did brand comics under the "Superman-DC" name as early as 1940), instead having official company names like "National Comics Publications" and "National Periodical Publications".

Like how was that ever a thought? Why didnt they go with Guilty Gear?

Also a movie with the Justice League.

I remember Blazblue being wayyy more popular pre-Strive back then.

Blazblue Cross Tag was such a fumble I can't believe that Arksys thought autocombos and 2 real buttons was ever a good idea. Sucks cause while I never watched or cared about RWBY they were the most polished characters in the game

It's more like Marvel vs Capcom:Infinite where it's 2v2 and have a deep assist system, but I feel like BBTAG has a more complex assist system. The problem is in exchange they pretty much gutted character movesets which left a really bad impression so most people didn't give the game a try.

Paramount would be the most likely company to buy WB because they could roll all the Looney Tunes and Hannah Barbera stuff into Nickelodeon alongside the DC shit.

And even if that wasn't a factor, WB would probably charge more for it than Disney's willing to pay. Disney in general hasn't been doing as hot as they once were, since they're still recovering from the Fox buyout, the months of COVID-19 lockdown forced them to move multiple theatrical films to streaming, Disney+ turned out to cannibalize their theatrical film revenues as people turned out to be willing to save money by waiting a few months for movies to leave theaters and go to streaming, The Marvels got fucked six ways from Sunday by both that and the SAG-AFTRA strikes effectively making it impossible to be promoted like a big tentpole blockbuster should be, and Governor DeSatan has been fucking with Walt Disney World's operations in Florida. For the kind of price that Zaslav would likely ask for, I'm pretty sure Disney's bean-counters would view buying DC as a risky and unnecessary expense in a time where they really shouldn't be having too many of those.

If Disney could afford DC, I wouldn't mind as a comic fan as long as one rule is in place. Keep the 2 universes seperate. Marvel and DC would not merge. They could do an occasional Marvel vs DC event in the comics. But most of the time, both would be their own thing. I dont want the lines to blur

RVB was an internet staple growing up. But God did I hate what they became as they grew and grew. Creating this soulless empire of nobodies churning out mediocre content for years.
