Shelf Life. Like I know some NES batteries die, but these triple aaa's won't last ten years.

Oddly I still have saves on my old nes games when I had a real nes ( this was like seven years ago). Why did I contradict myself. Look away, I'm hideous *Kramer reference*

Energizer Lithium are on a different level, but they're still disposable single use batteries.

So use them in applications where you need that type of battery longevity.

e.g. EoTech Holographic Tarrgeting sites that you plan on using out in the field.

Then it makes sense for high quality batteries that last a long time.

Otherwise, if it's everyday use items, use Duracell Rechargeables.

They offer superior performance.

Eneloops are made by energizer? But many devices will not accept rechargable batteries?

^ I was ripping on shelf status and then said I had original game nes carts with working batteries. Those NES batteries are over 25 years and still may work even actively.

But those batteries like that you can buy will burn out in a year generally.

you guys still use batteries? I use these for every battery powered thing I own besides TV remotes, it's mostly stuff like string lights that are only sold as battery-powered, or casio toy keyboards.

Pretty sure they're made by Panasonic. I've never used a device that couldn't use rechargeable batteries

They're great if you want many recharge cycles & minimal Maximum capacity loss, but not necessarilly max Voltage or Energy Capacity on a per charge basis.

They're made by Sanyo.

Many devices that accept AA or AAA batteries will accept most Eneloop AA or AAA batteries.
