No, but it's still a bad enough thing associated with dinosaurs that I felt compelled to talk about it here.

Regardless, I did point out that The Good Dinosaur sucks, so I'm not completely off-topic re: dinosaur movies.

Hey Carnosaur 2 is great. Its just an Aliens rip-off but its a hilarious one. Carnosaur 3 is even dumber. It wasnt until Raptor that the reused stock footage really got out of hand.

The Carnosaur movies are far far worse than the Jurassic World movies.

That 65 movie looked so bad that dinosaurs couldn't even entice mfs to watch it. How tf you fumble a dinosaur movie that bad

There was one movie made in the UK that came out a few years ago that had a lady staying at a hotel with dinosaurs to get a reality TV payout for it. Everything about it is way worse than the Jurassic movies the cgi on the dinos is terrible and none of the dinosaurs have any weight behind their movements. Even the worst Jurassic movie makes sure that you can hear a raptor's footsteps.

Edit-Dinosaur Hotel is the name of the movie.

It's not even the worst in the series.

Lost World is still the worst of the JP trilogy. Only one where they kill a dinosaur.

The 3rd movie in the 'World' trilogy is considerably worse, and apparently the middle one is considerably worse than even that (couldn't say, I skipped that one).

Anything after the second Jurassic park is not worth watching. Anyway, I fell off the franchise and simply assumed people liked these since they kept getting made. Glad to see they're actually reviled

They're all worth watching if you like cool dinosaurs and silly chase scenes. Like yeah, they do get cheesy and the situations get ridiculous, but who cares? That's part of the fun. The very first movie had the cast saved by the T rex appearing out of nowhere at the last possible second. It was always a little goofy. Just enjoy the spectacle.

I won't stand for Lost World slander. It's easily the second best in the franchise. Fun, unique action set pieces, nice body count...it's a creature flick and it knows it.

I personally like Jurassic World 1 and 2... but i do admit i just dont feel it for the third one.

It felt a bit like a chore...

I can't decide between Fallen Kingdom and Dominion which one was the worst. The whole Jurassic World trilogy sucked.

It's a shame that this is what the Jurassic Park franchise became.

It is and intentionally so. They even have a scene where an explosion happens and there's just some text on the screen "Add VFX later".

I havent seen it in a long time, but I remember liking that movie for some reason. I need to watch it again one day to see for sure.

I know this is an unpopular take but I think its the only decent film in the franchise.

Sure, if you've only seen big budget movies. Or think B,C, and D-list movies get a pass for being "so bad, they're good/entertaining"

JW is significantly better than the two JP flicks that followed.

I know I'm going to get flack but I was more emotionally moved by JP FK than JW - the two scenes of Apatosaurus standing on the dock bellowing as it died and the dinosaurs about to die to the gas really got to me

I've seen JP1 - 3 and have zero, even less than zero, desire to see the World movies. They seem so, so poor.

they're really not that bad, they're entertaining enough. JP has been my favorite movie since I was 5 years old but I've still enjoyed the entire series because you get to see dinosaurs fucking shit up. most of the movies have good actors and I actually like Chris Pratt. I just picture all his characters as Andy from Parks and Rec and it's much more fun.

the first one feels the most like the earlier movies, the next two are definitely a departure and the third movie definitely relied on the old cast getting back together too. but I would have watched it for that either way.

Then they talked to the Indominus for 11 picoseconds and decided to turn heel, then shortly later they decide to turn face again for...reasons?

My 7yo loves the Camp Cretacea series and is excited for the sequel series. So at least some good came from the Jurassic World movies.

Lost World was a great movie

they could have obviously done without the gymnastics kick raptor takedown but the rest of the movie was top notch

Anyone remember the Prehysteria series of direct-to-video kids movies from the 90s?

It was about dinosaurs that were tiny for some reason.

That show is the best thing to come from the World movies by far.

At least 3 brought back Sam Neill, and William H Macy is a very likeable screen presence. But planting the communicating with raptors seed that eventually led to fucking training them in the sequel series is unforgivable.
