Really loving the game. Has some minor annoyences like all the climbing but the wolrd, music, battles and story is just so good. The froggy minigame is a bit frustrating I have to go back for the last reward.

Soon finished with Junon region before I continue main story. Im like 25h in.

Oh yeah the card game feels even better now with power down and destroy -mechanics to play with.

And when I am not playing (eating etc) Ill be watching MaximillianDood streams (ones on youtube).

I play on dynamic, there has been a few challenging battles this far, the most retries has been on hunts I need to avoid them using a certain ability. The most time spent trying to beat something is the above mentioned minigame.

Actually mostly saw that early, been several later climbing sequenses that hasnt been at all obviously painted and there was even a separate path for minor treasure. Altho the giant flat walls painted with chocobos, arrows and chocobo fottprints is hillarious somehow.

Oh and I love theyve made items more usable and viable to use in battle. I almost never used them in Remake. I love the materia that boosts items so you can use items without atb.

Hope there is no reward for Fort Condor hard mode. I aint doing that.

Just if you're going for the platinum. I skipped it for now along with the last reward on the frog minigame.

Costa del Sun is a fun area.

Also Overpower + Ememy Skill (Electric Charge) + = Cloud is fun times, especially with haste and other ATB increasing stuff.

I just love playing as Aerith, has lot of buildup but with the 2 wards, the Chrono skill she is great, teleport with Ward Shift is handy and brings me memories of my Black Mage in FF14. With the radiant ward her dodge changes to this telporty-dodge which seems faster.

The combat is just so much better and more customizable than in Remake.

Im at the exact same spot in the game right now, just finished Chapter 6. The game is so much fun and every area has blown me away with how good it is

Its funny how people bitched about it and a lot of the climbing areas are easy to spot but not annoying...

I'm still in chapter 4 because I wanted to complete everything in a zone before moving on. I'm on the last side quest after having done all the protorelic stuff in Junon.

would you say it's worth buying a ps5 just for rebirth? money's not an issue but i seriously cannot decide if I should buy one or wait for the pc release.

I don't know, I don't think any game is worth buying a console for.

I did that with Starfield and an xbox....I should have just waited but I thought I'd have other exclusives to fall back on but turns out that xbox doesn't churn them out...

I have a PS5 and I guess you could say I only have it for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth now because its not on PC yet but I already had a PS5 and just recently got a high end PC so my PS5 was collecting dust for awhile.

So now its mostly my Switch, 3DS, and PC since a lot of PS exclusives are coming to PC lately.

50 hours in. Chapter 8 and Im just freaking loving it. Cant remember since I had such a fun gaming, it feels like SE put their love in this game.
