best guess is it was some truck with bigass offroading tires that hum on pavement like a street sweeper might? there's a dude in my neighborhood who is always driving down my street when im leaving for work with this bigass lifted Wrangler with like 2' wide tires that makes a sorta similar sound --- five, five, five, jack -five nobs ...
